Frosty fingers and stunning sunsets!
We really lucked out with the weather for our refit – 5 weeks in the marina and it didn’t rain on us while we were working! The clear skies also benefited us with a succession of amazing sunsets, as well as beautiful glittering frosts.
While we enjoyed the frosts to look at they certainly made even just walking along the pontoons to the boat an interestingly slippy endeavor!
Some of the local wildlife also took some time out to come and inspect our refit attempts. I think our rating from the swan was rather low, as cables and sealant were not appetizing.
The seal seemed more curious than hungry and happily floated around staring at the strange bipedal things for a while before heading off to (presumably) find somewhere quieter once some the bow thruster happy motor cruisers started coming back in for the day.
